Football v Homophobia is proud to announce that the nominations window for the 7th Annual FvH Awards is now OPEN!

The FvH Awards is a unique event and gala occasion which celebrates achievements in LGBTQ+ inclusion in football, at all levels of the game, in the UK and overseas.

There have been six previous editions of the FvH Awards since the event began in February 2020, with nearly 200 deserving clubs, teams, fan groups, organisations and individuals having been recognised so far for their sterling work in making football more welcoming for LGBTQ+ people.

We need YOU to submit nominations, in the 12 different categories, according to the criteria below. It’s totally FREE to nominate, and you can do so for as many categories as you like.

Closing date for entries is midnight, 14th December 2025.

A panel of judges, each with experience and expertise in inclusive football, will carefully consider all the entries before deciding the final shortlists.

Shortlisted nominees will then receive special invitations to the FvH Awards gala ceremony which is due to be held in central London in early February 2026.

Please be sure to tell us how your nominee fits the category criteria, and describe what they have achieved. You can send in evidence to support your nomination if you wish. Please email this to info@footballvhomophobia.com
