February Month of Action - Get involved!
In recent seasons, a large number of County FAs and their affiliated leagues have registered to be FvH Champions.
For 2025/26, we want to grow this support and raise greater awareness of the damaging impact of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in football. In the men’s grassroots game in England, recent data shows a 12% increase in proven disciplinary charges for discrimination linked to sexual orientation (The FA, 2024).
There are now more proven charges for homophobia in the men’s grassroots game than for any other form of discrimination. Meanwhile, reports of transphobia received by Kick It Out doubled in number last season.
Register NOW to be an FvH Champion, and you’ll receive our Month of Action Pack.
There are loads of simple things that you can do to spread the message of FvH and get involved:
- Follow us and promote the campaign message using social media. During the Month of Action use #FvH2026
- Send information about FvH to your stakeholders
- Put an article about FvH on your website during February – preferably a call to action
- Order some FvH t-shirts or a flag and encourage your staff or clubs to use them for photos to show their support throughout February and beyond
- Hold workshops for clubs and leagues on LGBTIQ+ inclusion in football. We can provide a facilitator. In-person workshop 2-3 hours £500. Online workshop 2-3 hours £300. Websinar 1 hour £200.
- Host FvH tournaments for junior players. We can provide workshops to run alongside the football. See above prices.
- Host an exhibition match with your local LGBTQ+ football team
